Facts About Allergies

The tendency to develop allergies may be inherited. If your patients have allergic tendencies and are exposed to certain things in their environment (allergens), they may develop allergies to some of those things. Examples of allergy symptoms include itchy eyes, runny nose, asthma symptoms, eczema and rash. The timing of the allergic response may be immediate or delayed. Allergy testing may be recommended to help identify their allergies.

Types of Allergens

There are many types of allergens that could be in their home that they are reacting to. They include among others, Molds, Animal Allergens and Dust Mites.

Doctors Diagnosis

The first thing they should do is see their Doctor, if they are experiencing any of these symptoms. You must identify what's causing their symptoms before a remedy can be prescribed. There are many allergens present in every home that they may not have a reaction to.

Home Testing

Our Field Laboratory Technician will go to their home and perform all the necessary test needed to identify any and all allergens, molds and toxins present in the home, at the same time our Phlebotomist will draw blood and collect a urine sample specifically for the purpose of identifying if any of the allergens, mold or toxins are having an effect on your patient. Having a real time snap shot of the condition of the patient's environment and the body greatly assist in diagnosing of any problems. It's like making a house call.
